Alec's hands balled into fists for a moment, nails fighting to dig into his palms, not because he found the sensation unpleasant but because of the opposite, and because he wanted to be able to enjoy it, at least for a little while.
His response to the kiss was eager, almost desperate, and if Richard had control Alec was losing it, and relishing the sensation of being able to do so, to let go and know that Richard would catch him, would always catch him.
"Good thing that much goes both ways." His voice is a careful contrast to the needs of his body, cool and calm when the rest of him is anything but (and a pleasant change from how that is still true the rest of the time, in a different way).
