Alec's finger pushed into Richard in a sudden contrast to the gentle ramping up of Richard's touch, not lingering long that way before he shifted to using two instead. He had been thinking they would take this slow, but having touched he couldn't stop doing so, and he wanted to make Richard feel as desperate as Alec suddenly did.
Whatever else had happened with Richard, it didn't seem like it had been nearly three months for him since he'd had Alec, but it had been for Alec, and that was reason enough to want to rush, to want this so much it hurt.
It wasn't enough to make him stop talking, but Richard would have an idea of how much that would take. (Failing to make sense was another matter, but Alec wasn't there yet either.)
